Announcement (updated 31/01/2017)

During these difficult financial times it is getting increasingly more challenging to attract sufficient financial partners to help fund this festival. We have had tremendous interest from artists wishing to participate, for which we are very grateful, and also from the general public and followers of Luce Dipinta. Although we have generous support from the town of Lana and other offers to help publicise the event further, we have not been successful in securing the minimum aid to cover costs. With regret therefore, we have taken the decision that rather than reducing the program and shortening the festival, we feel that it is best that the 2017 edition of Lana Lights does not take place.

The association will continue with other events with the intention of integrating individual completed projects from the festival program.
For the future we hope that our current partners will continue to support us and that more will join us in helping to bring the festival back to  the streets of Lana or beyond.
